中文譯名「孤星淚」，是19世紀最著名的小說之一
描繪19世紀初20年間幾個法國人物的生活
涵蓋拿破崙戰爭與1832年巴黎共和黨人起意
悲慘世界通過它不計其數的舞台劇與螢幕的改編作品
而被世人所了解，最著名的改編作品為同名音樂劇
「悲慘世界」
至今之所以會再度受到矚目
最主要的原因是來自於幾個常於螢光幕亮相的演員
而這首歌的主角，正是悲慘世界裡的核心人物之一：
