這首歌的創作靈感源於1977年的山達基基金會籌款活動。
當時，Bee Gees的主唱Barry Gibb
為了支持這項慈善活動而創作了這首歌，
歌詞深情地表達了對上帝的感謝和祈禱，

歌曲的歌詞中充滿了各種隱喻和象徵，
