主唱在那時候常常因憂鬱症發作，一個人躲在暗處發呆，
而當時又不跟周遭的人說起這件事，
導致他常常一人深陷痛苦之中，
一直認為自己該有個歸屬但又不知道怎麼形容，
那時候聯合公園唱片銷量又有點不太好，
因此憂鬱症加上壓力讓Chester整個崩潰到極點，
雖然那時候他挺過來了，
但樂團後期依然發生了憾事。
