其實這首歌是一手自嘲的歌曲，
自嘲自己對於毒品成癮的問題，
在那些提供毒品給自己的毒蟲面前，
像隻搖尾乞憐可憐狗一樣，
什麼都要聽對方指示，
副歌中的Hey Oh指的是古柯鹼，
應該說是借著諧音唱的，
原意是西班牙語中的YAYO，而這詞主要是一個拉丁美洲毒販的綽號，
由於賣古柯鹼賣到成名，所以這詞也成為了該毒品的綽號了。
這段簡短的副歌，是在形容毒蟲拿著古柯鹼，
對他嘲弄著說：
